  • What is Sen-Eye Standard

    Sen-Eye Standard augments any type of IP camera with an AI trained to detect emerging wildfires. It does so by analyzing smoke plumes from images provided by the IP camera. Sen-Eye Standard has a prediction certainty of 95% and can detect a wildfire within 15 minutes of it emergence. Management and alerting of the wildfire is handled via the Sen-Eye dashboard.

    Sen-Eye Pro features the same ability as Sen-Eye standard, augmenting any type of IP camera with an AI trained to detect emerging wildfires but it also increases prediction certainty up to 98% and enhances detection speed to 1 minute after wildfire emergence. Furthermore Sen-Eye Pro augments the Sen-Eye dashboard with the exact GPS coordinates of the wildfire, better insights in the wildfire's behavior and advanced tools for first responders like route plotting and 3D terrain mapping.

Sen-Eye Cloud

  • What is Sen-Eye Cloud

    Sen-Eye Cloud is Senhive's cloud-based autonomous wildfire detection system. In this deployment model, the AI analyzing and processing the data, is hosted in the cloud. Being a cloud-based solution, no hardware, aside from an IP camera, is needed to deploy. 

  • Where to deploy

    Sen-Eye cloud can be deployed on any existing IP camera as well as on any new IP camera. In order to have Sen-Eye Cloud connected to the IP camera, an internet connection is needed. Therefor this type of deployment model is best suited for urban areas where connectivity is readily available. The IP camera itself is not included in the Sen-Eye Cloud license offering. 
    Camera and placement guidelines:● The resolution and low-light capabilities of the IP camera have an impact on detection range: 4K resolution and "Wide Dynamic Range" is preferred (Senhive's camera choices)   ● The IP camera needs an unobstructed line of sight on the area wanted to cover ● Power and connectivity requirements depend on the deployed IP camera (please see camera manual for further details) 

  • How to deploy

    RequirementsFor the deployment of Sen-Eye Cloud, only a valid Sen-Eye Cloud license and IP camera (not included in license offering) is required.
    Installation steps:● Step 1: Mount and install IP camera (only in case of new IP camera)● Step 2: Configure Sen-Eye dashboard and add camera

Sen-Eye Edge

  • What is Sen-Eye Edge

    Sen-Eye Edge is Senhive's hardware-based autonomous wildfire detection system. In this deployment model, the AI is installed on dedicated hardware, allowing for on-site analyzing of the data without sending it to the cloud. Furthermore, the hardware can be equipped with a solar panel and satellite communications. Combining these features with our local AI enables us to provide a fully stand-alone wildfire detection system.

  • Where to deploy

    Sen-Eye Edge can be deployed on any existing IP camera as well as on any new IP camera. The Sen-Eye Edge solution can be deployed in areas where no power nor connectivity is at hand. Also our solution can add power and connectivity redundancy to camera's already connected to the power grid and internet. This provides an additional failsafe for critical areas. The IP camera itself is not included in the Sen-Eye Edge license offering.

Our history


April 2019

Senhive is founded, supported by investor seed capital.


June 2019

Senhive is granted an ESA BIC fund for the development of their product range.


August 2019

Start proof of concept Sen-Eye at nature park "Hoge Kempen" in Belgium. Our system was installed on a manned watchtower and detected a prescribed fire based on it's smoke plume.


September 2020

Finalization of first (and successful) test of our wildfire detection AI at park "Hoge Kempen". 


March 2021

Development of our Sen-Eye dashboard, needed to interact with the camera and the alerting service.


September 2021

In the meantime our fire detection AI has been successfully proven on several manned fire watchtowers. However, on request of Europe's national nature park authority, we will conduct one more final test on a manned watchtower in September 2021.


October 2021

In October 2021, the start of the South-African wildfire season, we are planning to release the cloud-model of our Sen-Eye solution. Our Cloud solution will enable large scale deployment of wildfire detection systems by providing an easy to use, reliable and low cost wildfire detection system. 


2022

In order to further accommodate scalability and deployment options, we will be releasing a hardware augmented solution, capable of off-grid deployment in beginning of 2022.
